Come join and learn more about People Power Washington at one of our meetings!

General Meetings

Our general meetings are a great way to get introduced to the group or get caught up on everything that is happening across all the work we do! At these meetings you can:

• Hear updates on what the working committees (Seattle, King County and State Legislature) are up to

• Meet other like-minded folks who want to bring change to our local communities

• Dive deep into that month’s topic (ex. how the State Legislature works, importance of collective bargaining reform for law enforcement, how County government works, how to look at and affect local budgets)

  • If you have a particular topic you’d like to hear about, feel free to make suggestions by emailing wapeoplepower@gmail.com!

Working Committee Meetings (Seattle, King County, and State Legislature)

A lot of work needs to be done at different levels of government - to facilitate this, our group has several working committees that focus on advocacy in different areas. Each working committee meets on their own schedule (generally, bi-weekly). Feel free to attend the working committee meeting of the area you are interested in!
